Find a health care provider
The ICBC Recovery Network connects you to health care providers who can support you in your recovery.
What is the ICBC Recovery Network?
It’s a group of health care and service providers across B.C. that meet ICBC’s requirements and can direct bill ICBC for pre-approved treatment sessions.
ICBC's health care provider locator
The health care provider locator is a tool that shows you providers in your area that offer any of the pre-approved early access treatment types and can direct bill to ICBC:
Acupuncture
Chiropractic
Counselling
Kinesiology
Registered massage therapy
Physiotherapy
Psychology
Appearing on the locator is optional for ICBC’s Recovery Network members, so not all providers that can direct bill ICBC will be visible here. Although the locator is updated regularly, updates to clinic information may take a couple of days to appear.
How to use the locator
Select a provider type by clicking the drop-down menu.
Type your location or address in the text field and click the search icon. A list of providers will appear as well as location icons on the map.
Select a provider to find contact information, directions or other treatments they may provide.
Refine your search
The fees charged by providers in the Recovery Network will vary, but ICBC covers up to a set amount per treatment session. If a provider charges more, the difference you pay is not reimbursed by ICBC.
To see only the providers that charge the same amount as what ICBC covers, select “hide providers who charge more than what ICBC covers” in the locator tool.
Find out more about pre-approved treatment coverage.
Virtual and mobile treatments
The locator search results will indicate if a psychologist or counsellor offers virtual treatment sessions, or if a kinesiologist or physiotherapist offers mobile treatments.
