Hi, I'm Dorothy (she/her) and I’m responsible for all of ICBC’s legal functions. As Chief Legal Officer, I lead the team working to resolve the legal-based injury claims before the move to Enhanced Care in 2021, as well as the Corporate Law, Privacy, and Freedom of Information teams and the Corporate Secretary’s Office. I’ve been a lawyer for over 15 years with experience in corporate law, real estate, financial services and transportation.

Before joining ICBC, I was Director of Legal Services for the Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR). I began my legal career at McMillan LLP in the real estate and the financial services group. I have a Bachelor of Arts from UBC and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University.

Outside of work, you will find me cheering on my two kids at their sports games, trying out new recipes in the kitchen and spending quality time with my friends and family.
