Statement and information from ICBC on motor vehicle incident at Tsawwassen Mills

We extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends and loved ones of two individuals who lost their lives, and our heartfelt sympathies to the those injured and affected by the tragic motor vehicle incident at Tsawwassen Mills.

ICBC is committed to supporting those impacted during this difficult time.

Anyone injured in this vehicle incident is automatically covered for the first 12 weeks following the crash. Pre-approved treatments include counselling, psychology, physiotherapy, kinesiology, chiropractic care, registered massage therapy and acupuncture. Injured customers do not require a referral from a family physician or nurse practitioner, nor do they need prior approval from ICBC, to access these treatments. Depending on the nature of their injuries, they may also be eligible for additional care and benefits.

Counselling support is also available for individuals affected by this tragic event, including witnesses and family members of those who were injured or killed.
