Juanita Lohmeyer is an award-winning CEO and Corporate Director with financial leadership, digital transformation and customer experience expertise. She has 25 years of experience leading to fast growth in global organizations with up to $20B revenue, spanning industries of insurance, financial services, information technology, telecommunications and education. She has worked, travelled, studied and lived in 60 different countries and speaks four languages.

As President and CEO of Forward Strategy Group, Ms. Lohmeyer advises on growth and strategic change execution, specializing in finance and digital transformation, for organizations across Canada and globally. She was named the winner of “The Next Generation Leadership” at the Government Technology Exhibition and Conference Distinction Awards. Ms. Lohmeyer is a Board Member for various corporate boards and has had the honour to serve on numerous not-for-profit boards and councils. Her community service led to recognition as the winner of the UBC Volunteer Leadership Alumni Achievement Award.

Her insurance executive experience includes stepping into the role of President in succession of a multi-decade incumbent. She grew the organization through the changing economic environment during the pandemic while maintaining financial stability and regulatory compliance. She developed growth strategies with responsibility for financial reporting, risk management, asset and liability management and internal controls.

Ms. Lohmeyer has completed the Rotman School of Management - Institute of Corporate Directors Governance designation, ICD.D. She has been a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) since 2009. She completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business and an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management with Distinction. She holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science and a minor in German from UBC.
