About ICBC
Indigenous talent community
At ICBC, Reconciliation is an ongoing commitment woven into our Moving Together 2031 strategy. We are proud to build meaningful relationships with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities and to create welcoming, culturally safe pathways for Indigenous peoples to explore careers with us.
If you self-identify as Indigenous, we invite you to join our Indigenous Talent Community to connect with opportunities, learn more about ICBC, and be considered for current and future roles as we work together to create a workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
Why join our Indigenous talent community?
Our Indigenous Talent Community is more than a way to learn about career opportunities at ICBC—it is an opportunity to connect with an organization that is committed to Reconciliation, relationship-building, and creating meaningful pathways for Indigenous peoples. By joining, you can stay informed about opportunities that align with your interests, skills, and career goals while learning more about the supports, resources, and community available at ICBC.
5 paid cultural days each year to support participation in ceremonies, cultural gatherings, traditional practices, and spiritual activities.
A broadened definition of family and bereavement leave that recognizes Indigenous kinship systems, relationships, and ways of caring for one another.
Opportunities throughout the year to gather in community, celebrate culture, share knowledge, and build meaningful connections with colleagues.
An Indigenous Employee Resource Group (ERG), where Indigenous employees and allies come together to learn, collaborate, strengthen relationships, and advance Reconciliation across ICBC. The ERG helps shape cultural initiatives, hosts speakers and events, and creates space for Indigenous voices, perspectives, and experiences to be heard and valued.
