After the crash, Nancy spent two months in hospital. As soon as she moved home, through Enhanced Care, Nancy had access to a variety of treatments to begin her recovery.

Lee-Anne's story

Lee-Anne’s mother was a passenger in a car that was hit by an oncoming vehicle. Following the crash, her mother spent weeks in intensive care but tragically died from her injuries. Through the ordeal, Lee-Anne was supported with ICBC benefits to cover travel between home and the hospital hours away, so she could be by her mother’s side. Following her mother’s death, Lee-Anne and her family were able to access benefits to cover funeral expenses and grief counselling, as soon as they needed it.
Tia's story
