When you move to British Columbia, you must switch to a B.C. driver's licence within 90 days.
You must change your address on your driver’s licence and insurance within 10 days of moving.

Change of address stickers are now placed on the front of driver's licences and BCID cards.
You can drive in B.C. with your existing licence for up to six months. Any restrictions you have on your home licence also apply here in B.C.
