A ticket is a fine issued to a driver who violates B.C.'s road laws.

The Multiple Crash Premium

The Multiple Crash Premium is a fee charged to drivers who are found 50% or more at fault for 3 crashes within a 3-year period.

Vehicle impoundment

The Vehicle Impoundment Program is a road-safety program that lets police immediately remove prohibited or unlicensed drivers and street racers from the road by impounding the vehicle they are driving.

A vehicle can be impounded for 30 days or longer when the driver commits offences such as repeatedly driving without a licence, or driving while suspended or prohibited.
