At a driver licensing office, you can apply for ID, take a road test, pay fines, and write the knowledge test.​ Find the office nearest to you, recommended times to visit and current wait times at our busiest locations.

Some services (like road tests and EDL/EIC applications) require appointments. Driver testing is available at most but not all locations. Make sure to read up on the service you need a​​nd what you need to bring with you.

Look up a driver licensing office​ near you to find opening hours, directions and other important information. For knowledge test, please arrive at least two hours before closing time. Be sure to call ahead if you’re not certain what services are​ offered at your preferred location.

These Lower Mainland locations are open Saturdays, and longer hours on some weekdays:

  • Burnaby (Metrotown)

  • Langley
  • Guildford
  • Richmond (Lansdowne Centre mall)​​
