Collector, off-road and other vehicles

Before most vehicles in B.C. can be insured and put on the road, they must be registered and licensed.

Collector vehicles
With collector plates and insurance, you can take your collector vehicle out for pleasure drives and go to car club events.
Modified vehicles

Modified collector vehicles
If you have a modified vehicle that's registered as a 1958 model or older, it may qualify for modified collector vehicle status. Qualifying vehicles can display collector licence plates.
