Class 6 road test
You can take your Class 6 road test after
you have -
After passing the Class 6 road test, we'll
take your photo and Class 6 will be added to your current licence.

Test highlights
- Evaluates your See-Think-Do
skills while you perform certain maneuvers.
- Gives you the chance to show that you
are a safe rider with excellent vehicle control skills who uses
the key
riding skills.
- An ICBC driver examiner rides behind
you in a car, speaking to you by radio. (We provide the radio.)
- You will perform riding maneuvers,
including 50 to 55 intersection maneuvers.
- At certain points during the test, you
will be asked to pull over to the side of the road, then identify
all the hazards
you see in front, to the side and behind you.
- The test and examiner feedback takes about
one hour.
What you should know
- The test and examiner feedback take about
one hour.
- You must provide a motorcycle for your road
test. It must be in good working order. Ensure the vehicle insurance
is valid and that your registration documents are available. You
do not need to own the motorcycle, you can borrow it from a relative
or friend for example.
- You must book
your Class 6 road test in advance.
- The Class 6 road test fee
is $50. If you pass, you will also need to pay a fee
for your licence. Please be sure to bring proper identification.
