Other driving prohibitions
The Office
of the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles determines
who will be given driving prohibitions and for how long. ICBC keeps
a record of all B.C. drivers, including those who are prohibited
from driving. Your ICBC driving record shows any driving offences

If you continue to drive unsafely after
having an offence noted on your record and you are convicted of
additional offences, the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles may:
- send you a warning letter, saying that
unless there is improvement, you may face the loss of driving
privileges.
- place you on probation. If you have more
driving offences during the probationary period, you may be prohibited
from driving for a specified length of time.
- if you rapidly accumulate offences, prohibit
you from driving without warning.
