I've moved to B.C. Does my vehicle have to be inspected?
Answer
Yes. Most used vehicles being registered in B.C. for the first time or returning to B.C. after being registered elsewhere must pass a mechanical safety inspection. Only designated B.C. inspection facilities can do these inspections. After passing an inspection, your vehicle may be registered, licensed and insured.
