How can I find out if a vehicle has a lien on it?
Answer
A lien search must be done. The following public agencies do lien searches:
- ICBC driver services centres (in person only)
- some B.C. Government Agents (in person only), or
- the B.C. government Personal Property Registry (in person or written requests)
