Pay your Driver Penalty Point Premium by mail or in person. Follow the steps for your chosen method of payment.

How to pay

If you received a Driver Penalty Points Premium bill, you have 30 days from the invoice date in which to pay. You can pay in person, by mail or over the phone with Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

Paying in person

Please bring the bill we sent to you and pay at one of the following locations:

Pay by cash, cheque or money order. Most locations will also accept Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, or debit cards.

Paying by mail

You can pay Driver Penalty Point fees by mail. Here's how:

  1. Make out a cheque or money order payable to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.
  2. If you wish to pay by Visa or MasterCard, complete the credit card details, including signature, on the remittance slip attached to your notice.
  3. Detach the remittance slip and include it with your payment.

If you do not attach a copy of the remittance slip, attach a note with the invoice number, the total number of points and the amount owing (as recorded on your invoice), your full name, address, driver's licence number and date of birth.

Please note that these details are required to process your payment. If you do not include them, your payment might not be credited to your account, and your driver point premium may remain outstanding.
