Expressways — Fast service, open Saturday

At Expressway driver licensing offices, you can renew or replace your licence, pay traffic tickets and more. Some locations now offer licensing Knowledge Tests (classes 6, 7, 8). Knowledge tests are by appointment only. Expressways have extended hours and are open on Saturday.

What can you do at an Expressway?

In addition to renewing or replacing your licence, changing the address on your licence, paying or disputing tickets and paying outstanding debts, you can also get a B.C. ID card or do lien searches.

You cannot take a road test at an Expressway, but you can take a Knowledge Test for class 6, 7 or 8 driver’s licences at the Cloverdale, Guildford and Richmond locations. You must call ahead for an appointment at an Expressway. For driver licensing offices, no appointment is needed and you can walk in for Knowledge Tests.
