Giving up your licence
People choose to give up their licence for many different reasons. If you have made that decision, here are some more ways to get the most out of being a non-driver:
- Get your B.C. identification card (BCID) at any driver licensing office. In most cases this is provided free of charge. Use it as identification in situations where you would have used your licence.
- If you have a disabled parking placard, you can use it in any vehicle. The privileges you had can now be applied to another vehicle— as long as you are with the driver of this car at the time.
