To report a claim online, please follow these instructions.

Getting started

When you report online, an adjuster reviews your claim within 24 hours and posts an online claim notice. The notice gives you important information about the status of your claim.

If necessary, your adjuster may book an appointment for you at a claim centre.

After you report your claim online, we send you a confirmation number. You need this number to access your online claim notice.

Checklist when reporting your claim

It helps to have the following information ready:

where and when the crash happened
licence plate number of each vehicle involved
driver's licence number of each driver
insurance information for vehicles not insured by ICBC
your preferred auto body shop, and
police file number (for a serious crash, theft or vandalism)
