That's why ICBC "No Fault" Accident Benefits provide wage loss payments of up to $300 per week for all employed [click for definition] people injured in a crash, no matter who was found liable. These payments are also available to people who were not employed at the time of the crash but were employed for at least six of the twelve months immediately preceding the accident. This coverage is part of Basic Autoplan.

It is also possible to purchase an "Income Replacement Policy" that provides for wage loss payments in excess of $300 per week.

Depending on how liability is assessed in your situation, you may be eligible for compensatory damages that would exceed what you would receive in Wage Loss payments from ICBC Accident Benefits.
