The RoadStar package is just for drivers at minus 9 or lower on the Claim-Rated Scale and combines four essential coverage options for these customers. It includes Rental Vehicle coverage, Loss of Use coverage, Vehicle Travel Protection and Lock Re-Keying.
Already got the RoadStar package but ready for a bit more coverage? The RoadSidePlus package gives you eight types of coverage to give you more protection.
RoadStar is for everyone at minus 9 or lower on the Claim-Rated Scale providing coverage for your car, light commercial vehicle or motor home. If you are at minus 15 to minus 20, you become a Roadstar Gold. This means you will get all the same great savings as RoadStar customers, but if you do make a claim, you’ll only move three steps up the Claim-Rated Scale. This means you could be at fault in a single crash and still keep your current discount.
If you have a company vehicle or even a fleet of vehicles, you may qualify. Talk to your Autoplan broker to purchase the RoadStar package. You may qualify for discounts up to 63% for both Basic and Optional coverage. Note that your fleet must have a discount of 40% or more to be eligible for the RoadStar Package.
Company-owned vehicles are eligible for the RoadStar package if the company has identified a qualified officer or employee of the company as an assigned corporate driver. This person must declare the use of the vehicle as a taxable benefit.
