RoadSidePlus Family World Wide Transportation

If you have a crash and end up in hospital with a life-threatening injury, you need your family close to you. RoadSidePlus Family World Wide Transportation covers their travel to get them to you, no matter where they are, and living costs once they get there.

You can only buy Family World Wide Transportation as part of your RoadSidePlus package. Talk to your Autoplan broker to get covered.

What is included

• Coverage to transport anyone in your household, your family or your spouse’s family to you. Family member includes members of your household and members of your or your spouse's immediate family. They must travel within seven days of the crash. They can come from anywhere in the world, within the cost limits of the policy.
• Up to $5,000 to pay for their travel to you and back home.
• Up to $500 for their living expenses including accommodation, meals, telephone calls and other transportation.
• Coverage throughout Canada and the U.S. — You are covered even if you are not in B.C.
• Family members must be there within seven days of the crash.
• No limits on distance travelled — They can be anywhere in the world.
