Geri Prior is responsible for all financial management functions within the company including corporate reporting, investments, actuarial services, audit and risk management, and corporate services such as facilities management and procurement.
Geri joined the corporation in 1987, working on internal auditing before leading ICBC teams in change management, cost containment and planning. She built the corporate project management practice in the mid-1990s and became ICBC's Chief Financial Officer in 2000. Geri served as interim President and CEO of ICBC from May to November 2008.
Before joining ICBC, Geri held a number of financial and audit positions with Touche Ross & Co.
Geri graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce - Administration and Management Information Systems from the University of British Columbia in 1983. She became a Chartered Accountant in 1986 while employed by Touche Ross & Co.
