Fred is responsible for driver licensing, which includes driver training and testing, processing violation tickets and fraud prevention. ICBC provides driver licensing services to all British Columbians on behalf of the provincial government.
Fred joined ICBC in 2001 as Director of Corporate Services, where he was responsible for environmental management, building operations, real estate, corporate security and document management. He became Vice-President of Driver Licensing in 2008.
Prior to joining ICBC, Fred worked in the natural gas industry in Canada, the United States and Europe. He also worked in the venture capital field, identifying and assessing prospective real estate and resource development acquisitions in India and Eastern Europe.
Fred has worked as a volunteer fundraiser for the B.C. Special Olympics and the Vancouver Playhouse, as well as served as Chair of the International Facility Management Association.
He has a bachelor of science in Applied Science from Bradley University in Illinois.
