Paul G. Haggis - Board member

Paul Haggis was most recently President and CEO of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS). Before working at OMERS, he was interim CEO of the Public Sector Pension Investment Board.

Paul has held several positions in the financial industry, including Executive Vice President, Business Development and Chief Credit Officer at Manulife Financial; CEO of Princeton Developments Ltd.; Vice President, Treasurer and COO of Canadian operations for Metropolitan Life; and President and CEO for Alberta Treasury Branches.

Paul has also been the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Borealis Infrastructure and Oxford Properties Group Inc. and currently serves as a director of Advantage Energy of Calgary,Chair of the Board of the Alberta Enterprise Corporation, Trustee of the Royal Ontario Museum and is on the Board of Canadian Tire Bank.

Paul is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and is certified as a Chartered Director through the Directors College at McMaster University.
